Review on HyperX Alloy FPS Pro Tenkeyless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard: Compact & Clicky with Cherry MX Blue - Red LED Backlit! by Tommy Willis

UPDATED: I've had this keyboard for almost a year now and still stand by my review. It handled all my needs well, from typing college documents to casual web browsing to long gaming sessions. One feature I wasn't terribly excited about, but used more than I ever expected, is the extra charging port. In most of the reviews I read, people charged their phones, but the convenience for me was that I was charging my wireless gaming headset and didn't need the extra port on the front of my setup due to the short cable. I haven't had any quality control issues and everything is just as functional and responsive as the day I took it out of the box. ------------------ So far I like this keyboard. ! I've admittedly only had it for a week, but thought I'd post a quick review to get everyone concerned about how to type on these switches because of the amazing responsiveness it offers as a gaming keyboard. Problems switching to this keyboard in terms of typing. All I had to do was sit down and type out a page and a half of nonsense, and I got used to it. I didn't make any more mistakes than usual (for reference, I hit 80 words per minute). When gaming, the faster response times are VERY noticeable. These switches look and feel great, and I love the different backlight functions. For people who wouldn't consider this keyboard without dedicated media keys, I'm used to it. I listen to music all the time while gaming/working and used my old media keys religiously so the lack of dedicated buttons on this board bothered me. It hasn't even been a week since I got used to it. Finally, the build quality is remarkable. The board has a good weight and the frame doesn't flex at all. Overall, this keyboard looks and feels exquisite. I'm so glad I chose him. And the cheap price doesn't hurt either! 10/10 Highly recommended for anyone looking for a solid RGB backlit keyboard!
