I would give 4 1/2 - 5 stars. I like the helmet very much. My head is exactly 23 inches and I have a large size. Very very tight which gets better with wear. The only thing that worries me is that the glasses are particularly tight. They'll keep them on my face if something bad happens, but at the same time I'm worried about breakage as they probably won't fit in the helmet unlike my head. Also, although it fits well, I feel a little odd, when i have to plug my ears one by one after putting on a helmet. Unlike the 3/.4 helmet, this one doesn't need to be expanded a bit. I'm not sure what will end up fitting: ears, goggles or a helmet. Ears and characteristics aside. I like the little extra coverage and stability. The helmet offers more than the typical 1/2 helmets I've worn for 50 years like they designed it for me.
