If the top of the arms are parallel to or under the table, each arm cannot hold a 7 pound monitor, although it is advertised to hold twice that much. Even at maximum tension, the monitors immediately fall onto the table when released. When I removed the bracket I found that it left a few noticeable dents on my solid wood table even though I had NOT overtightened it. Understand why this product has such a high overall rating when it has serious flaws that prevent it from doing what it's supposed to do. It would be a great product if it weren't for the weapon's weakness.
