Review on 6.5 ft HiFi Balanced XLR Microphone Cable with Male Right Angle – DMX Extension Cord by Monica Alvarez

This is exactly why I usually buy name brand cables in the audio industry. As I pulled it out of my pocket, I immediately felt something sharp protrude from the XLR connector. I checked and it appears that one of the screws was installed the wrong way round and if it was the threads were twisted. To make matters worse, the head of the screw was galled, so I can't fix it even if I wanted to. This is clearly an outlier, otherwise I would have left one star. However, to get through QC, I ordered a good quality cable and connectors and made my own cable after I was done with that. Lesson learned.
