I liked the combo packaging concept. Breakaway zip ties are incredibly useful, but I don't need stick-on zip ties. I have mixed feelings about raw bamboo lids. This means I have to wait for the mineral oil I applied to soak in and I was hoping to finish my cat shelter today! But it also means I can opt for a more eco-friendly oil finish instead of a toxic stain, which I may or may not like the color result on. There were some strange light brown stains on the inside of the large box. Maybe it was a minor burn? Does not change the integrity of the box. Be sure to measure your splitters carefully (including bulky connectors!) and leave extra room for splitters with staggered cables. A smaller box fits my 4-bar but not my longer one, and a larger box would be overkill for a 5-bar.
