Bought to replace the original handle in May, by June I was already seeing signs that the handle might not last long. I bought it because of the reinforced metal ring around the D-hole, because the D-hole ended up cracking on the original handle. The part arrived, bag pulled out and it fit perfectly, the dryer is back in action. In late June, I noticed that the selection arrow on the button didn't always match the option or time I wanted. When I set the dryer for 30 minutes it ran 40, the handle didn't wobble or play, so I just assumed the needle wasn't aligned with the timer's D-bar. Then, in July, it became really apparent that this pen was in serious trouble. When I set the dryer to optimal drying and pressed the start button nothing happened, eventually I found that when you set it to optimal it was actually off, so didn't start. I removed the handle and as you can see in the photos I noticed that there is a small thin D bracket in the D shape of the handle. Although this bracket fits snugly into the timer's D-pillar, it is not attached to the handle shaft. If you only use your dryer a few times a month, this handle might be for you. If you wash and dry every week then invest your money elsewhere.
