I was glad to find these 1/4 tin pans, I have two aluminum half pans that are over 25 years old and still in great shape . The smaller ones I had were cheap pans from the supermarket - light and flimsy. When the new pans arrived I was impressed when I took them out of the packaging. They seemed heavy for their size. I also liked the slightly taller sides, higher than my other favorite pans. Reading the description, I liked the explanation of the rounded edges and thick metal to prevent warping. Grocery store 9x13 pans have done this on many occasions. The pans are more expensive but I bought them because they were described as durable. I have only baked once in these new pans. And when I went to clean them, I noticed how much dirt accumulated in the area of the seam with one roll. This is because the seam is at least 1/8 inch open on the side (see photo). My other (old) rounded edge baking sheets have just a hair-raising gap between the rolled metal and the side, too small to accommodate anything. Reduce the distance between the sides and the folded edge to avoid dirt accumulation.
