I purchased these bands because I was trying to get back to exercising after getting pain shots in my back and hip for severe arthritis. I was excited when they came and planned my work out. Well after 2 weeks of use and I was only doing shoulder shrugs with the black band, the band snapped in half and almost injured my shoulder. Because the band gave way. I have now cut back on exercises because I hope the other bands do not snap. I am kind of disappointed. I am not Arnold by any means and snapping the band was something I thought impossible since these are supposed to support body weight for pull-ups.
