Oh my god! I just had to write a review to tell everyone this is a cheer up toy! This toy mimics what you tell him, but with the voice of a funny chipmunk. He just repeats what you say, he doesn't think to say anything of his own. Everyone I showed it to had to buy their own version. And make others happy. You have to laugh at the sound of your voice coming from this little hamster hopping up and down repeating your words in his funny way! He may not always repeat your sentence clearly, but that gives him charm. It's definitely uplifting. Especially when you prank him and call him names (when you're watching the news!) and he comes back to you with his funny voice! Great for relieving stress and bringing lightness to a world that is far too dramatic these days. Good quality. Runs on 3 AAA batteries. Not included. Excellent purchase. I highly recommend it!
