I bought the Emmako digital wireless backup camera and 7 inch monitor system over a month ago but didn't want to try it until after I installed and actually tested these features . I just completed a 3 week hike and can honestly say this product worked very well. My first impression upon opening the package was that the device is well assembled and includes all the necessary assembly hardware. The monitor's frame is solid and the mounting hardware, while solid, offers plenty of options and configurations. Installation was relatively easy once we decided where we were going to install it. (A hole in the roof at the back of my 5 wheel trailer allowed me to get to the back of the top center chases.) We simply connected the wires from the chases to the connectors provided. This setting allows me to look through the rear view camera when the trailer lights are on. Once the camera was attached to the trailer and connected to the trailer lights, the monitor was connected to the truck, turned on and the connection was instant. I didn't have to use the sync feature as described in the user manual. While driving, I just turned on the headlights and saw the traffic behind the car perfectly. Picture quality was good and the screen was bright enough to see in bright sunlight. The on/off switch on the cigarette lighter plug was a surprise and a very handy feature to turn off the monitor without having to unplug the device. 3 weeks on the road, the device worked perfectly and I am very happy to have made the purchase. My son, who helped me with the initial setup and installed a backup camera on his trailer, once he saw the excellent image quality, suggested I swap the units. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone still trying to get back into cramped campsites or just want to see what's behind them as they drive down the road.
