
I have a bacon recipe that contains sugar, maple syrup, pecans, and other substances that make the grill very sticky. I can just soak it in a baking sheet with soapy water overnight and it cleans up nicely. Pretty hard to clean areas just below the crossbars but overall it does a good job. I borrowed a "commercial quality" rack from a friend. It was a bit thicker and sturdier, but it worked for what I want to use it for. In addition, I can also use it as a normal cooling rack. Worth the price.
