I have never used a 165Hz gaming monitor. I just had to upgrade my 24 inch Asus 60Hz monitor which was getting old and dark. The KTC monitor was much brighter and sharper than any monitor I have used before. After connecting a new monitor via DisplayPort, I was able to reach refresh rates of up to 165 Hz without any problems. Menu interface [see Drawing] was also simple and intuitive. I liked the ease of navigation through the joystick menus. I also like the colored backlight on the back of the monitor [see photo]. Picture]. On the downside, the monitor's plastic construction felt a bit cheap for a $300+ monitor. Overall, this monitor delivers clear and undistorted videos and graphics. I can recommend this monitor for your general office and video use.
