They look good, but the birds won't eat them.
The title says it all. We get mealworms to add protein to thrushes, cardinals and wrens. Others may eat them too, but these three species eat a lot. Tried these - they look good, but if they go away after a few hours on live worms, these will have most of the worms in all three feeders after a few days. I saw the birds with them at the feeder and thought they were eating. Imagine my surprise this morning when I walked by and found that most of what I put in there 3 days ago is still there. waste of money. Maybe if I bring some of these with live mealworms?
