Yes, this is a solid phone mount and I have no reason to believe my phone will ever fall out, even after rougher rides (assuming it's mounted on my cruiser and not a mountain bike, but it's probably fine there) My only concern is that it will rattle when there's no phone in the holder, which may be normal for some, but it's going to drive me nuts. But put your phone in and the noise stops, so it's not a problem.
