You get what you pay for
I've had this scratching post for a long time. It's easy to assemble and lasts for the 6 months I have. However, it wobbles like hell. Are there two flaps you can presumably use to secure it? I think through a drill. I don't know because I live in a shared flat and can't do that. I just stabilize it with other things in the room. That's good if you don't mind going cheap, which you should find a way to stabilize.
