Fun game, easy enough for kids but strategic enough to keep adults interested and requires no special equipment other than dice, paper and pencil to keep track of the packs, and a Instructions with a point list. for combinations of dropped dice. Basically you just roll the dice and try to score points by rolling different pairs or triplets BUT you lose a round if you roll the dice and get nothing worth scoring (Farkle). You can ride as long as you dare, or until you farkle. The only skill is knowing when to stop, of course it's pretty random, but there's definitely a strategy based on the progress of the game and your score compared to other players. Should you risk another shot or two on your spin and get more (possibly many) points, or should you stop early to make sure you keep the points you have? This is a great family game that only requires 2 or more players, a small table or floor space, and a little time. It doesn't require deep thinking, good memory, learning complex rules, and you can stop and continue later. Good relaxing entertainment. Honestly I'm also obsessed with the container's interesting sine geometry, it's like 2 games in one!
