They are beautiful when lit and absolutely REALLY look and even feel real because they are waxed but the two candles in my box of six are not worked. The replacement set arrived two days later, which was great, but four of the six plugs in the replacement set didn't work. Between the two sets, I was able to do a full set of sixes that worked, but also a set of sixes that didn't work. A few of them would turn on for a few seconds and then turn off. One was very dim and didn't fully light up from several different sets of batteries, two didn't turn on at all and two of the battery covers (candle bases) didn't hold up because the threads had snapped and they wouldn't tighten properly. They look incredible when lit but I don't have high hopes they will last very long before breaking given how many of the two separate packages were not working when they arrived. If you're buying these for a one night event, they're perfect (but give yourself time to swap out orders if they arrive broken, or order too many at first so you're protected if a few don't work), but I don't think they will last long. Good price for one time use but I had to afford the more expensive ones to use regularly. The timer feature is handy, but 8 hours is a very long time they'll stay on - you rarely need a light anywhere for 8 hours a day and they use AAA batteries (not included) so they're not very cheap are. burn batteries. I turned them off after a few hours so I don't know if the timers actually work or how fast they expire. If I ever use the timer (or if the candles stop working) or the batteries run out I'll try to remind myself to post an update on how long it's been on. I've only had them for a few days now!
