Review on Kaagaz Scanner by William Gildea
Scanner Plus is a simple yet effective scanning app.
This app is great. You can scan and save PDF documents and images easily, and convert them to other formats. In addition, the document image quality is excellent, and the app also supports the ability to add text annotations and draw freehand shapes. Overall, it is an easy-to-use scanning tool, and can quickly perform the desired scanning task. However, if you need to edit scanned images, you should consider another option. I wish there were more options when adding comments/annotations. For example, some apps let you annotate as much or as little as needed without affecting the original file size. Also, this particular scanner has no way to rotate photos (other than mirroring).
Pros
- It's very easy to navigate through your saved scans.
- You can also export any photo to JPG, PNG, GIF, or TIF formats, making it extremely versatile for editing images.
- It does a good job at saving space on the memory card by automatically compressing images, while keeping the quality intact.
Cons
- No support for other languages such as Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, etc.
- Instead, each individual photo must be exported individually.
