Bought to try and replace a blown out factory center console subwoofer in an Escalade to replace an odd factory boxed 5.25 paper woofer. All I needed to install this was a bit dormant from a standard hole with about 1/4" dormant and dormant in some of the tabs. I'd love to find a 2 ohm DVC model, but using one 4 ohm direct wiring like the old subwoofer worked fine Sounds better than before the drop I haven't experimented to see if I can drive into a 2 ohm load since I'm not using a stock bridge amp.Overall I'm impressed and this is a great solution to replace the factory center console on GM trucks!Tighter bass!
