I hooked one up to a dual 2 ohm Quantum 10" 2000w competition woofer with a 180oz magnet. I also use a Rockford Fosgate capacitor which seems to work great with this unit All I can say is wow I took a chance on buying it when they were selling for 549.99 and bought it direct from Sony to test and I just bought it for 153.99 to use it as a second to power two Rockford Fosgate 8" door subwoofers that were ordered with this amp in my Mustang. This amp when used with a condenser will put out at least 12,000 watts, dual 2 ohms, competitive 10" I have a good friend in the audio industry who also can't believe the performance I got after installing it. Crutchfield also rated this amp a 5 out of 5 mos equal points and has a good rating. If you are an ok beginner in the game, Crutchfield is a good source of information.
