The positives: These are really cute, lightweight shoes with a flexible rubber bottom. The main body of the shoe is stitched together well, and the Velcro is also stitched on, so I believe it will hold up to my daughter frequently playing with the Velcro on car rides. The shoe is approximately 5 and 1/8 inches long and is about the size of a Carter's size 4.First con: I found ordering the right size to be very difficult. At least at the time that I am writing this review, the product page states that you should consult the sizing guide in a couple places. The only kicker? I can't actually FIND a sizing guide anywhere. Maybe I'm missing something, but I scoured the page a couple times and couldn't find it. The result? These shoes are way too big for my daughter right now. She'll grow into them, but it's a little annoying that I need to find different shoes for her to wear now. I'm sure I could exchange, but I'll just wait it out for her to grow.Second con: When first opening the shoes and examining them, I noticed the inner lining was peeling up in both shoes when I flexed them. I could see the strip of adhesive that should have been holding it down. My daughter wore them a little, and it seems that her weight pressed the adhesive down. However, I'm not optimistic that it will stay, especially once she's fully walking. I'm taking off a star for this.Despite a couple cons, I'm still giving an overall 4 stars since I think that these shoes are pretty good for the price point. Will they last forever? Probably not. But I really don't need them to because my daughter will only be wearing them for a short time until she's onto the next size. These just won't be our "everyday" shoes, more for specific outfits probably.
