My son usually wears an 8/10 so I chose a 10. It barely fits him and he definitely has nowhere to grow. I thought maybe I just measured my son wrong, but no. Pulling out the tape measure and laying the sweater out on a flat surface, it becomes apparent that the sleeves are much shorter than the listed length for a size 10, they look like they are the closest fit to the listed size 6. advertised is a size 8 and length is a size 10 unless you include a hood. The bag it arrived in and the tag on the sweater shows a size 10, leading me to believe that measurements between garments of the same size are simply not compatible. I returned this and bought two sizes up (size 14) hoping it would be a better fit to the advertised size 10 and maybe have some room to grow. Size issues aside, it seems well made and the kid loves it.
