Seriously, this is one of my favorite purchases. Drop the spice of your choice into the bowl, screw the pestle back in, and turn the knob.*Tip: don't do this. Use the handle for its intended purpose, constantly moving in one direction like a coffee grinder. Instead, twist it straight up and grind in different directions. Don't forget to push in on the handle as it's spring loaded and I guarantee you'll be pushing as much product through the screen as possible. Fixing the screen to the walls and the screen itself in the middle of the screen for extra polish. The only downside is that the latter - seems like a lot gets stuck in those spots.
