I could definitely pay $50 or $60 for something like this - this particular item doesn't cost too much - but some of their products don't cost much more and go up to $350 ? This is overkill for some 2x2x6 boards that have been sanded, painted and attached around a piece of canvas. I'm not a carpenter but I'll make one of these. The whole thing will probably take a day and will probably cost around $20. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's a good product, great idea and looks good, but even for a small non-factory company a lot of these are VERY expensive. My star rating as it doesn't reflect the product at all: My house is old and the studs are further apart. I had to add a drywall anchor to hang this. Remember, if you live in a home built before the 20's or 30's, these blocks are too close together to mount on a post.
