This requires that the drawer and drawer cavity have an overall spacing of exactly 1 inch. 1/2 inch on each side. I made two drawers and I think the wood of the cavity where the drawers are mounted was slightly warped. It was very difficult and required more effort than I would have liked to get the box all the way in. Everything was fine with the other box. You need to make sure you have 1/4 inch clearance to push the drawer out so it pops out and then pops out about 1 1/2 inches. You must push the drawer back 1 1/2 inches against the spring mechanism to reactivate it. I was able to mount two drawers without handles flush. Click to open. Click to close.
