Review on 🔧 Honda 16100-Z0L-853 Carburetor: Premium Performance & Easy Installation by Andrew Grant

My Homelite washing machine with Honda GCV-160 engine started hopping under pressure. After some troubleshooting, I decided to replace the carburetor rather than rebuild it. Aside from some fiddling with shim alignment during installation, it was an easy project and now it's working great again. This carburetor (16100-Z0L-853) does not have a plastic holder that holds the choke. Not a big issue, but just so you know. I decided to clean the old carburetor for a spare. When I opened it up it was sparkling clean after about 70 hours of use. But I did find that the main jet was loose at least a full turn, allowing the main jet to move up and down. I suspect that was the problem. Something you might want to check before changing your carburetor.
