Review on Faber Castell Watercolor Paper Pad Sheets by Kelly Caballes

Not worth the price

I used to have several of these pads that I use in collages because they are very thin. I actually thought it was a baby blanket. Lowered anywhere in the studio, the fixture quickly begins to suffer damage. It is unsuitable as background paper as it can get wet without tearing, blistering and changing shape. If you try to move a piece after placing it, fibers will be left behind. Even the few markers I have don't soak into the paper leaving bubbles and dents. Because I can use small pieces in a well-sealed collage, I can handle problems. This time I hit the reorder button thinking I'd get two pads for about $10. I was wrong, that's the price for a pad! Yix! That makes over $0.42 for a piece of paper that I can only use with small pieces. It costs no money! I can color the scrap paper any way you like.
