These are great socks and my 7 year old son loves them. However, he can't tell blue from black, so he just takes two "dark" socks, and they may or may not match (he sometimes wears a blue and a black one because he can't). Tell the difference). I would recommend that unless you need both blue and black socks that you just buy a pack of all black or all blue socks so you can swap them out without a thorough inspection.
