Disappointed with the product. Does not fit correctly on the tailgate. I made several attempts to ensure the installation was correct. It would be very easy to lift and break the latch assembly, exposing the bed. Definitely not worth the price. I had imagined it better. At least 1/8 inch from a good fit. I also had to use a drill to widen the tailgate holes for alignment. I know this is not a genuine tailgate latch part, but it looks like a little more research and development has resulted in a much better product. Not worth $53. I may look for an OEM lock.
