Rubber feet are essential for cooling

If you have a 50 year old blender, expect wear and tear. Kenwood mixers in particular have rubber feet. The mixer is quite heavy and people tend to move it rather than lift it (at least I did). Feet are needed to lift the mixer off the table to allow cold air to enter. The old legs were a bit difficult to remove and I couldn't get all the old pins out. I still managed to get my feet in quite well.
