I have only had this product for a short time but so far I am very happy with it. I bought this to replace my 25 year old FoodSaver Professional II which still works but not as much as it used to, also my old one was very heavy and took up a lot of storage space. Overall I think it will be a good replacement. If I had to do this everywhere I would buy one that can be used with a hose. I looked at so many thinking this had that feature but when I received it I saw that I had ordered the wrong model (my bad one).
