We needed a tire on one of the .

We had to change a tire on one of the children's bikes. We broke the original caps trying to remove the tires. We will order retaining caps as replacements. I was afraid to hammer the caps directly for fear of cracking the cap. I ended up using a socket for a set of ratchets to tighten with a rubber mallet. The caps turn on with a few clicks.
