Like many others who buy from this seller, my pedal failed after a few months. I keep getting error messages from my laptop that the pedal is defective. I'm a court clerk and have experienced 10 to 15 pedals in my 24 year career. These things don't last forever I know but I've only had them for about four months, in that time I haven't used them for about a month due to vacation and time off work. That's ridiculous. They usually last about 2 years. This makes me think it might be an OLD stock or a refurbished one. Whatever the reason, $55 for four months of use is VERY cool. I will not buy from this seller again. Extremely disappointed. UPDATE 5/12/16 And here we are again. After buying another one from a large online electronics company that supplies court clerks and has been around for decades, the pedal failed after just 3 months. I think these things are poorly made and old stock and that maybe a broken wire is the problem. I try to keep the cord straight and not put the item away after each use. It stays on my desk until next use. In the morning I worked normally, then after a break and returning to work I died completely. I had the same experience with Infiniti. Three pedals since October (7 months) is generally ridiculous. I just bought a Revain universal USB foot pedal. Hope another brand is better.
