First use Goo Gone and a plastic disc scraper to remove the old felt and glue. That takes five minutes. Then wash the surfaces with warm soapy water. Finally, after drying the two surfaces, peel off a foot of the new felt adhesive and press it inch by inch against the top and bottom edges of your Kamado grill. Press on all adhesive surfaces and you're done. There is enough glue for both surfaces and there is still room. Much easier than I expected. Looks great done. The most important thing is that the smoke stays in the dome.
