Review on Stylish & Sustainable: Vera Bradley Utility Crossbody Camo Recycled Women's Handbags & Wallets – Shop Now! by Lisa Campbell

Oddly plump material

I love Vera Bradly bags in general but this one is rare for me. I assumed the material for this would be similar to the recycled cotton Vera shoulder bag, which is also unstitched and has become my favorite lately, but this bag has a thick layer of wadding between the outside and the lining. I was hoping this would make a good, relatively flat, mini shoulder bag for when I need to carry my tablet and/or a book, but the wadding makes it bulky, puffy and odd. It's so thicker than Vera Bradley's regular quilted jeans that I could almost use it as a pillow when I'm napping at my desk. I'm also a bit disappointed they used a slippery synthetic strap that doesn't stay on my shoulder instead of the wider, softer cotton strap used in a crossbody sling. The cotton fabric is soft, the organizer is great as always and the floral print lining is beautiful but I'm afraid it doesn't suit me in terms of fashion and functionality, especially compared to the various Baggalini and Vera Bradley wallets I already own, so i'm not sure
