I have been cooking on my Weber Smokey Joe Grill for 35 years. When I saw Vortex, I was both curious and skeptical. I watched a few videos and read some user reviews before finally purchasing it. The first thing I cooked with it was chicken wings. WOW! If I hadn't cooked them myself, I never would have believed I could have wings with a crispy crust that literally melts in your mouth. As I write this, I'm smoking Chuck Roast for dinner tonight. I was very impressed with the quality of Vortex's design and production. The metal is a lot heavier than I expected and is pretty easy to clean too. I look forward to seeing how versatile my favorite Weber Smokey Joe has become thanks to Vortex.
