I really like this mattress topper. My daughter sleeps in her backpack and plays in our room at night and the 'mattress' that she comes with is not comfortable at all. Every night around 2-3am she would wake up and cry until one of us put her in our bed. I was looking for a mattress topper on Amazon to make it more comfortable and came across this one. I was hesitant to buy it because photos from other reviewers clearly showed it didn't fit in the Graco package and didn't work. I decided to pull it off, thinking I could put a blanket or something on the edge to fill in the space. To my surprise, this was not necessary. The topper fits great. I use Carter's plush quilted playground sheets, they are very thick so maybe it helped fill the space. I also let the topper rise for a full 24 hours before popping it in the box and playing. Ever since he was on her bed, there have been no wake up calls at 2am. I can only find 2 flaws in it: 1. Now she doesn't take long naps in her crib in her room, she obviously finds it more comfortable than her actual crib mattress. It is very inconvenient for us to have her nap in our room when we could easily move the backpack and play outside of our room during the day. 2. This mattress pad is thick, so in the relatively near future she will be able to get out of her backpack and play thanks to this addition. In the end it's worth the money.
