I lodged a complaint with Michelin. When I turned the tires in for inspection, they informed me that the renowned one-year warranty against operational damage is only valid if I register my purchase of Michelin tires on the company's website prior to making the purchase. A heartfelt "thank you" goes out to the Vianor store, from which I purchased the kit for approximately 90 thousand, but which did not make any mention of the requirement that tires be registered on the site. Imagine for a moment that the manufacturer requires any and all products that need to be purchased to be registered with them. Yes, it seems like there is a guarantee even without registration, but it is just for a manufacturing flaw. Of course, they didn't notice my damage after 3000 runs, therefore they refused to honor the guarantee (I have attached screenshots). I really hope that they didn't actually cement the deal by saying that the tire mileage is 50,000. Even yet, I'm curious as to how you've managed to log 50,000 miles in just two months. Or perhaps they wrote in such detail in order to make a reference to the fact that the tire has a high mileage. Unfortunately, in order to avoid purchasing a new set of four tires from a different manufacturer, I had little choice but to get a replacement from the same company that made my previous tires. If I had known that Michelin was so unreliable, I would have bought myself the same Pirellis that I skated on for six years and 60,000 kilometers until they were virtually erased to zero. It is likely that the tire had driven through little pebbles, which the tire could not withstand for 30,000 per cylinder.
