They might work for a phone or something small that is already easy to disassemble, but not something larger. I used them to remove the frame from the monitor. First, the plastic is WAY too soft to pry open, even a phone. The tips bend very easily. The plastic bezel cut into the instrument and broke the tip on the first side. Since I could edit part of a page, I could use the corrupted tool to navigate the rest of the monitor. I used to only use an old credit card and it works and lasts a lot better than these tools. I thought it would be nice to use a real tool since I've seen other uses, but that's not the way to go. waste of money.
