First, I checked the inner pockets to see if my 15 inch laptop would fit. Which it does, firmly and securely, flush with your back. There is an elastic Velcro strap to secure laptops to keep them from moving. Just above the laptop sleeve is a zippered pocket that fits most chargers (approximately 6" deep x 10" wide). The 2 open pockets are approximately 5" deep and 4" wide, suitable for computer accessories, wallets, cosmetics, keys, etc. The outer brown pocket is magnetically attached, making the belt functional but cosmetic. The magnet is quite strong and resists being opened with a reasonable amount of force. I plugged in an external £1 charger and shook it vigorously to simulate running with a bag during everyday use. In the inverted position, it never opened, and in the inverted state, it withstood multiple impacts. This bag is suitable for many lighter items that need quick access, such as: B. a subway card or a phone. All seams make a very stable impression. I pulled the whole backpack and it seemed solid. The canvas material is thick and waxy. I didn't test it in heavy rain, but I splashed water on it and poured a cup of water outside. Water drips and rolls instead of sucking in (some still suck in). The inside and outside are independent layers of material, so the outside needs to be very wet to get the effect of the inside. Ideal for moderate rain/snow exposure, suitable for short-term heavy rain exposure. Very high quality for the price. Also, the aesthetic is a nice contrast to the herschel/jansport backpacks I see everywhere. I would take this or a similar backpack again at this price.
