Best for frequent swaps but can also be used as a long term hub

I have a USB 3.0 USB C to USB A converter with the included Type C to Type C cable for use with my PC used . You also have the option of using the Type-C and Type-A cables that come with most phones, although they're generally limited to USB 2.0 speeds (40Mbps) if they support data transfer at all. I like that the port on the hub is a USB-C port and not a weird port. I like the design of the hard drive bay door that covers the smaller hard drive bay. I have used this hub with two 7200rpm drives (2TB and 3TB). ) and to copy between my PC with an Intel 660p 2TB SSD. When I used it to copy files between two SATA drives mounted on this PC docking station, I achieved file transfer speeds of around 100MB/s. It seems that while there are parts, there are no specific protocols for copying files directly in the hub. When transferring data within the hub via USB 2.0, the copy speed dropped to less than 20MB/s. doc I have a write speed of 130 MB/s when copying from my PC to 1 drive and 2x85 MB/s when copying to 2 drives. full of things. Power is supplied via the supplied 36W power supply. The plug is the same size as the 18w power supplies for my other portable hard drives and I was able to easily power my two 7200rpm hard drives with a 1x 18w power supply. Do this at your own risk as other types of hard drives may require more power. The disk cloning feature is good, but there doesn't seem to be much protection against accidental activation. When the power button is on and the source is smaller than the target, a long press of the big clone button will activate the clone function. I hope that when I put my 3TB drive in the source and the 2TB drive in the destination, it never tries to clone. However, this is not possible if both disks are the same size. Obviously, due to the lack of an enclosure, your hard drives are exposed to environmental hazards. As such, it's a very good docking station for situations where you need to manage a lot of empty drives. The lack of protection makes it a little less than ideal for my use case as a more permanent multi-drive dock. The drives are not very physically secure and also somewhat prone to accidental cloning. Type-C is a common connector, so finding replacement cables should be easy.
