My old Plantronics Voyager legend has been revived. It gets the job done, but it seems like the earcup hasn't fully evolved into a headset. I had this problem and as a solution I applied more pressure as I twisted to the point where the tip of the ear twisted a bit. I do not recommend doing what I have done. I only did this because the headset lasted a few years. The gel material feels stiffer than what I usually use for some reason, maybe it needs a longer "break-in" period. There are still some minor inconveniences, but it works great and hasn't fallen out since I first installed the new earbuds.
