Sorry for the long review but here's the thing: The patient is a 68 year old male with rigid patency in both eyes due to corneal dystrophy. The patient has an anterior and a posterior IOL - the second IOL in the left eye after displacement of a 25 year old Alcon IOL and. So, here I am with contacts. The eyes are very sensitive because of the allegories, so anything that cleans better is fine with me. I bought two of these devices as a test. At first I was very satisfied with a device. . But here's the thing: you must be very careful NOT TO GET SOLUTION inside the device or into the battery area. When I'm at around 20/50-60 without lenses, I often skip and add too much solution. Wiping with paper towels was fine for a while. Then one day I noticed that the battery was leaking. Well, rather rust (from contact +). I've had good results with the following scheme: cleaning with B/L cleaner, then mount lenses in Vuesonic, then run a cleaning cycle - leave overnight. In the morning, before the reintroduction, I did the second cycle. operates Lobob CDS for cycling. Flush before adding to Equate Saline. Achieve very good results with it and work up to 12 hours a day without much discomfort. A few things I, as a consumer, would like to reconsider in the next form intake for this product: The next version of the product should have a larger battery - one AAA cell lasts about 2 weeks of my double the maintenance cycle. Next I'd like to see a redesign of the product so it's not as easy as pouring a brine/cleanser into a power button. In software, pressing the button should turn off the device if it's already running - it doesn't. For travel the battery is fine but I'm sure I'd like a product with a longer/deeper cycle and basic wall wart performance. The good news - and why the four stars - is that when using Lobo CDS solution and then rinsing before insertion, I get normal vision. Rewetting with Lobob's wetting solution about 5 hours a day helps. The build quality of the device is okay, just for those of us who are 20-70 and under the club. Seeing lenses in silicone cases is a little tricky, so get tinted lenses and puncture the right lens so you can jeep them right away. (a 30 acre tree farm) and another tip for eye care when working with diesel engines is to get some of those $8 sunglasses. so on to block #2 now. AS needs a super good lens cleaner, but this one could use some improvement. I gave it four stars because at least someone is working on the issue and I think it deserves support. Another RGP tip? Put some saline in your eyes before removing your lenses - they will be MUCH easier to remove.
