I didn't buy this keyboard to play. I'm a student and I like typing on a mechanical keyboard. I've been using this keyboard with my MacBook Pro for about a week. As soon as I opened the box I was amazed at the weight. It's not too heavy and not too easy. Seems to be the right amount. The build quality is excellent at this price. The plastic makes a durable and robust impression. I did a bend test and almost no bend. I haven't taken it apart, but it looks to me like they have a metal plate inside for structural support, giving this little guy that extra needed weight. The plastic for the keycaps seems a bit flimsy to me. When typing on the keyboard, you can feel the quality of capital letters. Slightly thicker keys would have made this product perfect for me. Switches are great! I'm not an expert at all, but from what I've read they are compared to Cherry MX Blues. These switches are very noisy. I live alone so I don't have to worry about disturbing anyone. I think the switches are very high quality. They feel durable and not cheap. The LED backlighting is great and that's what makes this keyboard sexy. Each button has its own LED and they are bright enough for everyday use. I love how you can dim the lights or just turn them off. I noticed that the LEDs don't stay in their settings after turning on the computer. You have to adjust it every time. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this keyboard to anyone looking to save a few bucks.
