I started running a few years ago to be more active. I started with an old pair of New Balance sneakers and bought another pair the following year and they were fine. My legs always hurt a little after a run but I figured that was normal after experiencing this type of stress on my legs for 6-10 miles. However, when I put these shoes on, I was amazed at how comfortable they are. I think the best thing about them is that they are very wide and fit my feet better than any sneaker, basketball or any other shoe I have ever bought. Not sure if they are comfortable because they are very wide or because of the insole but I would definitely recommend them to anyone with wide feet. I've bought a pair of wide shoes in the past but I could tell right away that they were different when I tried them on. As for running in them, I've already run about 30 miles in them and I understand that your legs shouldn't hurt after running. They are great and keep my feet comfortable while running so they don't hurt afterwards.
