It shines very nicely, but unfortunately it is very difficult to see through. It would be nice to create a glossy vinyl design yourself, but it doesn't lend itself well to overlaying images, die-cuts, or die-cut images. The name says "holographic glitter" and "iridescent glitter" but the description says "silver holographic glitter" and it really is - it looks very silvery, not more transparent than I thought. Since I bought it to overlay images, it doesn't really work for me. However, it can work for other purposes. **ETA: I used it alone and it's really nice if you don't expect to see design through it. I like it now!
