Based on the reviews had I expected these curlers to be awful. The plastic on the curlers isn't flimsy. They lay on my head all night without tearing. The satin finish on them isn't scary either. I don't think the satin lasts long will hold up but I think I'll get my money's worth until then.I was happy with what I received.I'll probably singe the endless satin covers for them not spread. They were able to curl my naturally curly hair nicely so I'm happy. The last photo shows my natural curls!
