I bought one of these in 2014 to run a small irrigation system using rainwater. 32,000 gallons have been pumped so far, which is just under 15 gallons per day. In 2020 it started making noise because the bolts holding the pump head to the motor were loosening from the vibrations, breaking the threads in the process. I put in a couple of makeshift screws to hold it in place while I order a spare pump to replace if it dies. The replacement pump is still in the box and the original pump works like a champ! Very good value for money; This pump runs almost every day (except when it's raining and no watering is required) and does a great job with a charged 12v solar panel. Tip: If the pump starts to run noisier than when it was new (usually very polite hmmm ), tighten the four bolts that attach the pump head to the motor. The pump will run smoothly again and will probably last for years.
