I'll be honest with you: I'm gross and I'm never clean. So my toilet basically looked like something out of a horror movie or an episode of Buyers. The "before" photo was taken AFTER a very hard cleaning with a Clorox toilet pen. A big improvement, but still not completely clean. So I was looking for a way to remove more stubborn stains and thought about buying an industrial acid cleaner. I wasn't keen on this as it could create fumes and I also tend to drop and spill things. Anyway, I ended up on this list for Pumie by clicking on the related products. The reviews seemed promising, so I decided to give it a try. I opened it up and started working with it as soon as I got it and it's quite amazing. The brown ring at the waterline disappeared almost immediately with minimal effort. Stains on the floor took more time and effort, probably because it was harder to get there while covering more surface area, but they come out. In total I spent about half an hour on this, but I'm moving pretty slowly, and I'm only on the water ring for 5 of those minutes (maximum). The pumice leaves a residue that clouds the water, so I also had to rinse and submerge the water several times to get to the bottom and see where I needed to clean. And of course, the harder you press and rub, the quicker it wears out. Eventually I had enough left over to rip the last few pieces off the stick and use them in my hands to reach under the rim of the toilet to clean. high. One of them could get the job done, but if you have a heavier polluted toilet than this, or have multiple toilets, you can purchase multiple packs. So yes, I am convinced of this article.
