Second, the product photo does NOT show that there is a special tip at the end of the plug that allows you to attach it to the side of the coiled cord (like most vacuums). (See photo I've included in customer images) I was able to use this cable to replace one my dogs were chewing on on my new Shark Navigator Liftaway Pro without much trouble. The only tools I needed to change the cable were wire strippers, 2 wire nuts, and a Phillips screwdriver. Total repair time: 10 minutes. I have included photos of the step by step process I used to change the cord on my vacuum. (See "customer images" on the main page of the product) This cord is suitable for most types of vacuum cleaners. Simply remove the old cord and connect the white and black wires of the new cord to the same places the old one was connected inside the vacuum cleaner.
